Kimono and Tea Ceremony Experience

2025年12月4日

1. Introduction (About the Experience)

Through two iconic elements of Japanese tradition — kimono and the tea ceremony — we offer a completely private experience where you can quietly immerse yourself in the spirit of “Wa.”
Located near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Nikko, our tea room is adorned with gold folding screens and traditional ranma carvings. A certified instructor will guide you carefully from the kimono dressing to the hands-on matcha preparation.

Although Nikko is known for its changing mountain weather, this experience takes place entirely indoors, allowing you to participate comfortably regardless of the conditions outside.

First-time guests are very welcome.
Through the etiquette of tea ceremony, the meaning of kimono, and the deeper philosophy behind these traditions, you will discover a rich cultural experience at your own pace.

We look forward to welcoming you and providing a serene and unforgettable moment away from the everyday.
